Over the last 30 years, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s Talent Development Program has mentored more than 100 young Black, African American and Latino musicians.

Ivan Rodriguez is a correspondent for CNN Newsource based in Atlanta. He is a bi-lingual multi-media journalist, with experience covering natural disasters, issues impacting the Latino community, and immigration and border issues. He has also extensively covered the COVID-19 pandemic and social justice protests.

Prior to CNN, he has been a multi-media reporter for Denver7 ABC, KGUN 9 On Your Side in Tucson, and 23ABC News in Bakersfield.

Rodriguez earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism & Mass Communication and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a Certificate in International Studies from Arizona State University. He is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
