Bruce Williams is the Executive Producer of CNN This Morning with Kasie Hunt, airing weekdays from 5am-7am on CNN and CNN Max. He is an award-winning producer who first joined CNN in 2009 and has helped produce a wide variety of CNN’s most well-known dayside programming over the course of his career.

Most recently, Williams was the Senior Producer for CNN Early Start. Prior, he produced New Day with Alisyn Camerota and John Berman, American Morning and Campbell Brown: No Bias, No Bull. His work on New Day was recognized with a News & Documentary Emmy for the comprehensive coverage of Roger Stone’s arrest by the FBI in 2020.

Before joining CNN, Williams was a producer at Al Jazeera America and i24 News, where he worked to develop and co-create a wide variety of programming. He began his career in local news as a field producer for WTEN-TV in Albany, New York, and later as a producer at WHDH-TV in Boston, Massachusetts, and WNBC-TV in New York City. A native of Walden, NY, Williams attended the State University of New York at Cortland with a bachelor’s degree in public policy and history. He lives in Atlanta with his wife, daughter, and two dogs: Murphy and Skylar.
