
Ithaafushi -- The Private Island: Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi resort has just opened its new addition: "Ithaafushi -- The Private Island." Spread over 32,000 square meters, it's being marketed as the largest private island in the Maldives and costs $80,000 per night to buy out.

Maldivian charm: The island can accommodate 24 guests in three buildings, with decors described as "refined yet modern" and "with a nod to Maldivian charm."

Main residence: The four-bedroom residence comes with two king bedrooms, two queen bedrooms, hot tubs and large common living area, all with direct access to the beach.

Overwater villa: The two-bedroom overwater villa comes with indoor/ outdoor rain showers, a shared living room, infinity pool and Jacuzzi.

Arrival pier: Guests can access the island via a 40-minute ride on one of the resort's six yachts. It's a short distance from the main Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi resort, which opened in 2019.
