
10. Zurich Airport (Switzerland): Skytrax has named its top 10 airports for 2019 -- just breaching the rankings is Zurich Airport, the Swiss transport hub that also got awarded World's Best Airport Security Processing.

9. Narita International Airport (Japan): Tokyo's Narita International Airport is number 9 on the list and also won Best Airport Staff in Asia and World's Best Airport Staff. The airport is known for its internal running track, pictured.

8. London Heathrow Airport: London Heathrow came in at number 8, the same spot as last year. It was also crowned Best Airport in Western Europe and the on-site Sofitel got awarded Best Airport Hotel. It's not all plain sailing, though: A controversial decision to expand the airport with a third runway is currently being challenged in England's High Court of Justice.

7. Munich Airport (Germany): Munich came in at number 7 on Skytrax's list, but also won Best Airport in Europe and Best Airport in Central Europe.

6. Central Japan International Airport: This Japanese hub, also known as Chubu Centrair Airport, is located on an artificial island in Ise Bay in Aichi Prefecture. It's number 6 on Skytrax's list.

5. Hong Kong International Airport: Hong Kong International Airport is number five on the list. It's also on an island -- Chek Lap Kok.

4. Hamad International Airport (Doha, Qatar): Doha's Hamad International Airport came in 4th place, one up from last year.

3. Incheon International Airport (Seoul, South Korea): Incheon International Airport breached the top 3 and won World's Best Transit Airport.

2. Tokyo International Airport (Haneda): Haneda, went up the list one place, taking the number 2 spot. Haneda also won Best Domestic Airport and an accolade for Best PRM/Accessible facilities.

1. Singapore Changi Airport: Changi Airport is still Skytrax's "World's Best Airport", taking the title for the seventh year in a row and the tenth time in the past two decades.
