California cooking: Welcome to SingleThread, a new restaurant in Sonoma County that gives new meaning to farm-to-table dining, thanks to its infusion of Eastern culture and philosophy.

Fresh produce and fresh vibes: SingleThread is run by chef Kyle Connaughton and his wife, Katina, the head farmer. The two work together to ensure SingleThread features fresh produce and sustainably harvested food from around Sonoma.

Hyperseasonality: Forget the outdated concept of four seasons. SingleThread runs according to 72 distinct micoseasons. That way, the ingredients are always ripe and ready.

Local land: About 70% of the items on SingleThread's ever changing menus are grown on the restaurant's farm.

Best of Sonoma County: The couple believe local produce is best. "It's dense in nutrients and tastes undeniably amazing," says Katina.

Always different: The 11-course, ingredient-driven meal changes weekly and will never be the same twice.

Experimental cooking: Chef Kyle is inspired by his stint running the experimental kitchen The Fat Duck in England, as well as time spent training in Japan.

Homey dining: SingleThread showcases its culinary offerings in its 52-seat dining room, which is cozy and stylish.

Personal touch: Kyle and his team focus on the personal touch -- before they arrive, diners supply dietary restrictions and personal preferences.

Customized experience: Using diners' preferences, Kyle and his team prepare unique customized meals.

Sweet dreams: After the meal, you can lay down your head in SingleThread's luxurious accommodations.

In demand: Fancy visiting for yourself? You have to reserve a table via a nonrefundable ticket, more comparable to a Broadway show or professional sporting event than a restaurant meal.
