Puro Vik: Nineteen individually decorated houses are spread out in complete seclusion from one another and have three walls each made entirely of glass.

The art of glass: Each glass house has a theme that the Viks are fans of such as this Dale Chihuly suite.

Pop art: A stay in this glass house will please lovers of pop art.

Pieces with purpose: Husband and wife team Alex and Carrie Vik traveled the world to source the furniture and decorative accents for the rooms.

Hiroshige: The Japanese-themed suite features four works by the eponymous Japanese artist, who was one of the masters of ukiyo-e, which translates to pictures of the floating world.

Epitome of luxury: Although the country has some five-star hotels, Jack Ezon, the founder of the luxury New York City travel consultancy Embark, says that none were in the league of Vik.

Letras: The standout piece in this suite (letras is letters in Spanish) may just be the red boxing glove-shaped chair. The Viks found the chair at a village auction in France.

Bath time: A stay at Puro Vik is bound to turn you into a bath lover.
