Clothing optional: So you're looking for a vacation, but you want it to be clothing optional? That's where NaturistBnB comes in -- an Airbnb-style website for nudists.

In the nude: Founded by Finnish naturists Petri and Minna Karjalainen, this website allows visitors to stay in different home stays, vacation rentals and resorts -- all with nudist-friendly hosts.

Learning from experience: The idea, Petri Karjalainen tells CNN Travel, stems from the couple's unsuccessful experience as Airbnb hosts: "If you're promoting a clothing-optional homestay, it basically keeps out the people who don't want to get involved in the naturist lifestyle," he explains.

City breaks: Karjalainen says he can't pick a favorite vacation rental on the site, but he likes the city spots. "There are a couple of them in London, Amsterdam and New York," he says.

New opportunities: The initiative is still new, but Karjalainen is confident it will be a big success: "I think it's a really cool opportunity to go to these interesting cities and meet some like minded people and stay together with them," he says.

City spots: There are a range of properties available on Naturistbnb. This stunning view is available from a private queen bed room in George Town, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia.

Castle life: In Dordogne, France, guests can sleep in this 16th century tower, complete with a pool. The host says the castle is in a private location, perfect for a clothing-optional stay.

New meetings: At Nudista Villa Rosaleda in Gandia, Valencia, Spain there are five double rooms on offer.

Spacious interior: Guests visiting the villa will share the home with the owners. Inside, it's airy, spacious and inviting.
