My Hitch —
My Hitch is a hands-free travel accessory designed by Robert Lian, a 53-year-old airline pilot based in Miami, Florida.

Hitching a ride —
It's a 22-centimeter-long piece of plastic that hooks the handle of your suitcase to your belt or waistband.

Suitable for walking left —
Lian admits that although "there is a slight tug on your waistband with each step," if you wear a strong belt or a tight waistband your pants are unlikely to fall down around your ankles.

And for walking right —
"You can make a U turn or even walk in circles," explains Lian -- although we don't recommend you try doing this in busy traffic.

Suitable for women too —
"In our tests, it worked well for travelers whose height ranged from 4'10" to 6'6"," says Lian.
