Road trip! —
Sure they look happy now. But wait till you start singing, swearing and picking your nose. Click on to see what kids surveyed by Ford said bugs them the most about road trips.

Don't quit your day job, mom —
The Ford survey was conducted to better understand what children like and don't like about traveling in cars, says Ford. Singing parents were found to be least popular in the UK, where 39% of children ranked this their biggest pet peeve.

Potty-mouthed parents —
Of 2,002 kids surveyed in Europe, 61% revealed parents got angry or used "naughty words," with French parents being the worst offenders.

Pacification —
Asking "are we there yet?" isn't the only thing that road tripping parents have been dealing with since the invention of the car. Moms and dads have long been bribing kids during car rides. Exhibit A: This 1960s photo of a dapper little dude holding a lollipop in his carseat.

Bribery —
According to the survey, parents in the UK are quickest to use gadgets and snacks to ensure a peaceful ride, followed by Spain and France. Kids in Germany are either incredibly well behaved or pathological liars.
