"Agoraphobic Traveller": Jacqui Kenny is the woman behind popular Instagram account @streetview.portraits. Kenny spoke to CNN Travel about her top tips for virtual travel.

Cactus in Mesa, Arizona, United States: Under the pseudonym "The Agoraphobic Traveller" Kenny has been chronicling her experiences virtually traveling the world from her own home for the past four years.

Kissing Horses, Mongolia: Kenny suffers from agoraphobia -- an anxiety condition that makes going outside, let alone traveling the world, very tricky.

A world without limits: Browsing Google Street View is a way for Kenny to explore the world without leaving her home.

Dealing with isolation: "When I felt my most isolated and anxious, I turned to creativity to try and help me process and express the feelings I had about my situation," says Kenny, speaking to CNN Travel from the UK, where she's in lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Finding connections: Sharing her findings on Instagram became a "real life saver" and helped Kenny forge connections. She recommends others find ways to reach out too.

Arequipa, Peru: Kenny is scrupulous about the aesthetic of her images. She always frames them in a specific way, and she searches for perfect lighting and pops of color.

Sharjah, United Arab Emirates: Kenny says she often finds herself attracted to destinations that she can't imagine visiting in 'real' life.

Desolate Playground in Tanaka, Arequipa, Peru: "I was really drawn to the to the desert and I think it might be because it both terrifies me and fascinates at the same time," says Kelly.

Images that represent anxiety: "As someone with agoraphobia, the desert is quite daunting with no easy escape or exit," Kenny says. "Perhaps I was always looking for images that represented me and my anxiety in some way and that drove me to certain places and environments."

Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico: Lots of Kenny's images have pops of color.

Church in Arica y Parinacota Region, Chile: Kenny describes Google Street View as a "parallel world."

Sechura District of Piura, Peru: Exploring the world via Google Street View, Kenny started to notice the commonality that unites countries.

Connections: "It made me realize just how similar we all are. Even though I was doing my traveling from home, strangely I it made me feel more connected to the world than ever," she says. Kenny found this scene in Ulaanbaater, Mongolia.

Future projects: Kenny took this shot of a service station in Winslow, Arizona, United States. Since the project took off, Kenny had a solo exhibition in New York, sponsored by Google. She's currently working on a photo book, entitled "Many Nights", in collaboration with poet Emily Berry.

Thousands of images: Kenny took this screenshot of dogs in Copiapo, Atacama Region, Chile. She has amassed a collection of some 40,000 images. "I'm not sure where all of these findings are going to take me, but I don't feel like I have finished my Street View journey just yet," she says.
