
Iconsiam: Built at a cost of US$1.65 billion, Bangkok's Iconsiam is a 750,000 square meter riverside complex made up of retail, dining, entertainment and residential spaces.

Eight floors of dining and shopping: Iconsiam has more than 100 dining options and stocks more than 7,000 Thai and international brands.

Iconluxe: Iconsiam's "Iconluxe" zone is filled with high-end brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dior and Hermes.

Thailand's first Apple store: Apple Iconsiam connects to an outdoor roof terrace that offers great views of the Chao Phraya River. It's the brand's first Thailand store.

Opening day: According to Apple, hundreds lined up overnight to be among the first to enter the new Iconsiam store on opening day.

SookSiam: SookSiam is a 16,000 square meter themed zone on the ground floor that aims to promote the arts, culture and foods of Thailand's 77 provinces. It has its own small floating market.

Launch party: Iconsiam spent a reported 1 billion baht -- a staggering $30 million -- on its opening weekend festivities. A black-tie, invite-only party filled with performances -- including an appearance by Alicia Keys -- kicked things off on Friday night.

Star power: Celebs flown in for the big night included Naomi Watts and Dan Stevens.

Riverside splendor: Iconsiam sits on Charoen Nakhon Road on the Thonburi side of Bangkok, across the Chao Phraya river from the downtown core.
