The new big data capital: The 2017 China International Big Data Industry Expo was held at Guiyang International Eco-Conference Center n Guishou. When US tech giant Apple Inc announced the opening of a data center in Guizhou this year, it further cemented the province's position as the country's leading data capital.

China's first VR park: The Oriental Science Fiction Valley, located just outside of Guiyang, features 35 virtual reality attractions ranging from roller coasters to sci-fi simulators and interactive shooting rides.
