The Castle of Mey: A 10-bedroom bed and breakfast recently opened on the grounds of The Castle of Mey in Caithness, Scotland.

The Granary Lodge: Prince Charles' foundation oversees the castle and the bed and breakfast called The Granary Lodge.

Drawing room: The bed and breakfast's website recommends "rounding your day off with a wee dram from the bar while relaxing in our drawing room."

Plush and cozy: An open fire and views of the sea are added bonuses while winding down in the drawing room.

Breakfast: Locally sourced ingredients are the foundation of The Granary Lodge's breakfast offerings.

Rooms: There are 10 distinctive bedrooms, including two suites. Fabrics and fixtures are traditional and in line with the castle's interiors.

Soaking tubs: A hot bath is another fine way to end a day along the far north coast of Scotland.

Flora and fauna: Floral fabrics and artwork featuring creatures from field and sea decorate the rooms.

Photographs: The Castle of Mey was a favorite place of the Prince of Wales' grandmother, Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. Photographs from her visits hang in The Granary Lodge.

Castle grounds: The Granary Lodge is located adjacent to The Castle of Mey, which is open daily from May through September, except for a period in late July and early August.
