Author Brittany Gibbons first opened Camp Throwback in 2014 in Clarksville, Ohio, as an escape for adults who loved summer camp during childhood. At this camp, no kids are allowed and it's BYOB.

On Drunk Field Day, about a dozen 10-person cabins compete in dodgeball, watermelon-eating and a three-legged race. Drinking, "which is optional, makes it a bit more 'adult,'" Gibbons said.
