Claridge's: For a classically English experience Claridge's is LTI's top choice thanks to its stunning design, elegance and perfect location in the heart of Mayfair.

Claridge's: Top quality service can be expected here, too; the staff are ready to answer every request and and there's even a designated children's concierge.

The Goring: London's oldest family-owned hotel has been run by four members of the Goring dynasty since 1910 and has even received a Royal Warrant of appointment to Queen Elizabeth for hospitality service.

The Goring: Its rooms may be smaller than many of London's top hotels, but it has wonderful interiors, quintessentially British elegance and and the second-largest privately owned garden in London.

The Beaumont: Formerly a parking garage, this 1926 building has been transformed into one of London's top five-star hotels, with LTI naming it the "world's best luxury hotel" in 2014.

The Beaumont: The interiors of this heritage protected building are supposedly "stripped-back neo-classical," but the grand Art Deco interiors have a real sense of drama.

Bulgari: Located less than a minute from Hyde Park, this Knightsbridge property has some of the largest accommodations in the capital, with 85 rooms and suites spread over six floors.

Bulgari: The grandeur of the building echoes the splendor of the renowned Italian jeweler and silversmith, while its interiors, designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Partners, are contemporary and yet still reflective of London.

Corinthia: Renovated and transformed into a 21st-century grand hotel by Corinthia Hotels, this 1885 building feels modern and unrestrainedly lavish, but retains much of its original elements in its window frames and banisters.

Corinthia: The hotel holds seven penthouses based on characters found in London, such as The Royal, The Musician and The Whitehall, which has a giant chess set on its roof terrace.

Rosewood: Set in a majestic Belle Époque building, Rosewood's wrought iron gates and interior courtyard make you feel as though you've stepped back in time.

Rosewood: Designed by Tony Chi & Associates, its interior is quintessentially British, yet unusual, although many of the original listed features are still intact.

Chiltern Firehouse: Owned by renowned US hotelier André Balazs, this boutique hotel quickly became a celebrity hot spot when it opened in 2014, and LTI thinks of it as a never-ending exclusive house party.

Chiltern Firehouse: While it doesn't have typical luxury option such as a gym, spa, pool, multiple restaurants and a lobby, hotel guests do get automatic entry to a buzzing scene, which is otherwise off limits.

The Wellesley: This discreet Knightsbridge hotel began its life as Hyde Park Corner Station, designed by English architect Leslie Green and has become one of London's hippest under-the-radar luxury hideaways.

The Wellesley: Claiming to be London's "first boutique-grand hotel," LTI loves its sophisticated Art Deco glamor and excellent service as well as its good food and buzzing jazz lounge.
