Canada National Aviation and Space Museum: For anyone other than the most dedicated airplane gearhead, aviation museums can be boring--but not this one.

Meet the curator: Erin Gregory's passion for both the subject matter and storytelling has been passed down to tour guides who take guests around the museum.

A new perspective: Trudging through hangar-like museums and reading small placards listing an out-of-commission's airplane's particulars is not the only way to experience a museum.

Engaging: Gregory says her goal is to "engage with people who got dragged along and are not expecting to enjoy themselves or learn anything."

Take the tour: Gregory and her team share stories about the people who once flew the tremendous aircraft that make up the museum's impressive collection.

Highlighting female pioneers: With the exception of glamorous outliers like Amelia Earhart and Bessie Coleman, most women pilots are left out of the cultural zeitgeist. That's not true of CASM.
