The Design Museum will reopen in it's new home in London's Kensington on November 24, 2016.

The new building, sensitively "retuned" by British architect John Pawson -- in collaboration with Reiner de Graaf of OMA, Allies and Morrison and Arup -- spans some 10,000 sqm (aprox. 107,500 sqf) and is triple the size of the original museum.

OMA, Allies and Morrison and Arup were behind the restoration of the modernest buildings concrete roof and remarkable facade.

The building's original stained glass windows by Keith New remain intact.

The complex renovation was thanks to £83 million (aprox. $100 million) of investment.
