Artist KAWS' newest work debuted on Seokchon Lake in Seoul, South Korea.

At 92 feet long (28 meters), the inflatable work is the artist's largest sculpture to date.

"KAWS:HOLIDAY" is the artist's first floating work.

"I just wanted to do a water piece," said KAWS in a phone interview. "I was just thinking about being on vacation, and when you just drift in a pool and stare upwards and that's really the beginning of the work."

After floating on the lake for a month, it will embark on a world tour.

The piece was produced in collaboration with creative studio AllRightsReserved.

KAWS is known for his distinctive cartoon-like figures and large-scale sculptures. "I've always been interested in public art," Donnelly said. "A lot of the reason of how I make work is about communication, it's about creating a dialogue with the viewer, and putting work out there they weren't expecting to interact with that day.

A shot of "KAWS:HOLIDAY" inflated and ready for its watery debut.
