Dubai is also home to what's been dubbed the world's first 3D-printed office, which was created by Chinese firm WinSun in 2016.

Chicon House in Austin, Texas was reportedly the first permitted 3D-printed home built in the United States.

Eco-home Gaia was 3D printed by Italian firm WASP in October 2018, using natural materials including soil, shredded straw, husk, and wood.

Marble, brass and plaster feature in this 3D-printed villa in Milan, Italy. On display in the Piazza Beccaria, the design includes a verdant rooftop terrace.

Project Milestone —
Project Milestone in the Netherlands is testing full-sized printed components and is expected to be complete in early 2020.
