













Nouran Salahieh is an editor for CNN’s National News Hub based out of Los Angeles. She joined CNN as an associate writer in 2022, reporting on some of the most pressing stories in the United States – including gun violence, extreme weather and high-profile criminal trials – before taking on an editor role.
Prior to joining CNN, Nouran was a digital producer for KTLA 5 News in Los Angeles, where she covered topics including the Covid-19 pandemic, wildfires and housing. Nouran studied journalism at the American University in Dubai and got her master’s in journalism from the University of Southern California.
