Michelle Cohan is a senior producer for CNN International’s Global Productions unit. She has more than a decade of experience crafting multiplatform content across various beats including climate, culture, health, travel, innovation and more.

She currently produces CNNI’s flagship environmental series, Call to Earth, which highlights stories of conservation, sustainability and the people working to protect the planet. She has previously produced other series, including Going Green, The Next Frontier, Vital Signs with Dr. Sanjay Gupta, and African Voices Changemakers.

Cohan also served as a producer of CNN International’s monthly travel series, Business Traveller, which took her around the world in eight days.

Cohan joined CNN in 2011 as a field production intern in the Washington, DC bureau before heading to CNN’s headquarters in Atlanta. She first served as a news associate and then as an associate producer for CNNI’s newsroom before joining the Global Productions team.

Cohan graduated magna cum laude from The George Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations.
