Jeremy Harlan is CNN’s Denver-based Cross-Platform Video Producer. Harlan joined CNN in December 2003 as a photojournalist in the Washington, DC bureau before moving back to his hometown in 2017 to be the network’s first Cross-Platform Video Producer.
Harlan has covered major breaking news events including Hurricane Katrina, the 2006 Lebanon War, the Iran Nuclear Deal, and multiple presidential elections.
As a Cross-Platform Video Producer, he’s responsible for many facets of the storytelling process including producing, filming, editing, writing, and drone piloting. When not traveling the globe for CNN, you’ll likely find him tending to his vegetable garden.
Harlan is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia’s School of Journalism.
