










Andrew Seger is a political producer covering the 2024 elections for CNN.
Seger started at CNN in 2018, interning for Fareed Zakaria GPS and Anderson Cooper 360 before joining full time as a producer on CNN’s morning programming team. He produced the daily feature “Reality Check” segment with John Avlon, and worked closely with the show’s talent as an anchor producer.
Before joining CNN, Seger was a reporter, anchor and podcast producer at NPR-affiliate WFUV in the Bronx, where he won an Edward R. Murrow Award for his work covering New York politics.
Seger graduated from Fordham University, where he studied International Political Economy. He’s a proud member of the NLGJA: The Association of LGBTQ+ Journalists.
