Tofu Shinjo McNuggets —
McDonald's in Japan is offering a special item for a limited time: tofu and fish McNuggets -- a mishmash of minced whitefish, tofu, edamame, soy beans and carrots. Deep-fried to a golden-brown and shaped just like the original chicken version, Tofu Shinjo McNuggets are crispy on the outside and mushy on the inside.

Paneer Zinger —
Vegetarians in India can opt for KFC's double-layered patty of Paneer (cheese) dressed with a spicy creamy sauce and lettuce on a soft bun.

Flying fish roe salmon cream cheese crust —
Pizza Hut in Hong Kong introduced a new stuffed crust option earlier this year of fish eggs and cream cheese. That's on top of their regular topping offerings, which include specialty items like clams, scallops and mango.

Meet the McMolletes, the Mexican version of the iconic McMuffin from McDonald's. The open-face sandwich is topped with refried beans, cheese and pico de gallo.
