After closer than-expected wins for her party in 2021 and 2024, Democratic Rep. Mikie Sherrill is hoping the state sticks to its tendency to back the party that’s out of power nationally. On the GOP side, former state Assemblyman and 2021 nominee Jack Ciattarelli is aiming to continue the Garden’s State’s rightward shift and become the first Republican to win the office since 2013.
