Ballot measure election results: California, Colorado, Maine and Texas

Of all the races on November 4, California’s Proposition 50 could have the biggest impact on the 2026 midterms. Voters in the Golden State will decide if they want to enact a new congressional map that could help Democrats win five more House seats. Across the country, voters will also weigh in other issues including voting rules, gun restrictions and funding for school meals.
