'First, we're destroying Iran's missile capabilities, and you see that happening on an hourly basis and their capacity to produce brand-new ones and pretty good ones they make. Second, we are annihilating their Navy. We've knocked out already 10 ships. They're at the bottom of the sea. Third, we've ensuring that the world's number-one sponsor of terror can never obtain a nuclear weapon.

Trump said Iran ignored the White House's warnings not to rebuild its nuclear program and told CNN that the, quote, big wave is yet to come. Trump didn't give a definitive answer on when he expects the military operation to conclude, but said the US was, quote already substantially ahead of our time projections. In an interview with the New York Post, the president didn't rule out sending US troops to Iran if necessary. As of Monday, US Central Command says six US service members have been killed in action. And an additional 18 have been seriously wounded since Saturday.

'The conflict is widening by the hour. Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed in the US and Israeli bombing Saturday. Now a three-person council holds power until its successor is chosen. According to local media, Khamanei's wife died today from her injuries. Iranian missiles and drones have targeted Israel and several countries across the region that host U. S. Military bases, including Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. Although most of these missiles and drones have been shot down, some have reached their targets. NATO secretary general says the alliance absolutely has no plans to get involved with the war. Several countries across Europe and the Middle East are calling for diplomacy while others weighed energy and security risks. Meanwhile, here at home, nearly six in 10 Americans disapprove of the U.S.'s decision to take military action in Iran, according to a new CNN poll.

'Here's how markets are reacting to the latest developments in Iran. Global oil prices traded at their highest level in over eight months. Stocks were mostly lower across the globe while U.S. Stocks were mixed. And gold prices rose 2% and traded at the highest level in one month. Investors are scooping up the safe haven assets and the US dollar as places to park their cash as the war in Iran spreads. Now to the shooting rampage in Austin that officials say may have been motivated by U.s. And Israeli strikes on Iran. Austin police say a man in a large SUV rolled down his window and opened fire on bar patrons outside on the famed Sixth Street yesterday morning, killing two people and injuring 14 others. Austin's police chief says the two killed were Texas Tech students and that the 53-year-old suspect was also killed. A law enforcement official told CNN the suspect was wearing a shirt with an Iranian flag design on it underneath the hoodie printed with quote, property of Allah.

Two popular streaming services are creating one platform after the Warner Brothers discovery and Paramount merger. CNN's Liam Riley explains.

'Thanks, Ifeoma. So Paramount CEO David Ellison announced this morning that the company will combine its Paramount Plus streaming platform with Warner Bros. Discovery's HBO Max in the coming years. The merger of iconic intellectual property under a single streaming roof would be a major shakeup for the streaming wars. The move would effectively create a one-stop shop for titles like Yellowstone, Star Trek, Game of Thrones, and The Sopranos. As of the fourth quarter, Paramount Plus had almost 80 million subscribers. While HBO Max reported having just over 131 million. Of course, before any of this can happen, Paramount still needs to clear the regulatory hurdles standing between it and its acquisition of WBD.
