From aspiring doctor to celebrity photographer: Ejatu Shaw’s journey
Though British-Sierra Leonean photographer Ejatu Shaw was on track to become a doctor, she couldn’t ignore her love for the arts. After a trip to her parents’ homeland of Sierra Leone, she decided to invest in her passion — switching her college major to photography. That decision paid off: she has photographed celebrities including Angela Bassett, Craig David, Cynthia Erivo and Usain Bolt. CNN’s Larry Madowo speaks with Shaw about her journey and accomplishments.
