Lebanese prime minister says President Trump ‘more than anyone else’ can end war in Middle East

President Trump is best placed to end the war in the Middle East, Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam told CNN’s Nick Paton Walsh in an exclusive interview. Salam said Lebanon is ready to enter into talks with Israel but has yet to receive any “clear agenda" to kickstart negotiation and would not be willing to accept any kind of buffer zone stretching into its territory.
