Double-murder trial begins in Virginia for man accused of conspiring with au pair to kill his wife

On Tuesday, Brendan Banfield, a former IRS criminal investigator, stands trial in Virginia, accused of killing his wife and another man. Banfield was involved in a romantic relationship with the family's live-in au pair, Juliana Peres Magalhães. The two are alleged to have plotted the murder Banfield's wife while framing a man they met online with her murder.
