Kuba Maziarczyk, super jury member and Polish cheese maker smells a piece of cheese during the 37th edition of the World Cheese Awards, organised by the Guild of Fine Food, in Bern, on November 13, 2025. With up to 5000 participating cheeses from around 50 countries, the World Cheese Awards is the biggest cheese event in the world. An international jury of around 250 people assesses various aspects of the cheeses, such as the appearance of the rind and paste, as well as the aroma and texture of the cheese.
