Taliban cuts internet across Afghanistan

Afghanistan was plunged into a nationwide internet blackout, according to internet watchdog NetBlocks, with the Taliban taking more than 43 million citizens offline as part of what it describes as “morality measures.” CNN’s Ivan Watson explains what the shutdown means for Afghans living both inside the country and abroad.
