The House Ways and Means and Energy and Commerce panels held marathon sessions overnight debating provisions in President Donald Trump’s sweeping tax and spending cuts package. Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) told CNN that as the bill is currently written, he would vote no. Several New York Republicans are objecting to a provision in the bill related to state and local taxes.
