Last September, Malaysian police rescued more than 600 children from a group which publicly operated as a global halal food company. CNN spoke with more than a dozen former survivors to learn how they were treated.

<p>Africa CDC Director General Dr. Jean Kaseya is leading the response to a deadly Ebola outbreak in the DRC and Uganda. Africa CDC was the first to declare the emergency on May 15. He warns the Bundibugyo strain is more violent than previous outbreaks, with at least 80 deaths and no approved vaccines or treatments. Funerals and population movement are fueling spread.
