Norovirus can defeat most household cleaners. Here's what actually works

Norovirus cases are surging in the US, in part because it’s highly contagious and hard to kill. Dr. Sanjay Gupta explains why norovirus can get past many household disinfectants and describes the most effective ways to stop it from spreading in your home.

In a previous version of this video we stated that Lysol Pro Disinfectant Spray did not work against norovirus. The Lysol product with the EPA registration number 777-99 is effective against this virus.
