Video shows pro-EU protesters clash with police in Georgia
Large crowds of protesters took to the streets of Tbilisi, Georgia for the fourth night in a row, to demonstrate against the country’s decision to suspend EU membership talks. Clashes between demonstrators and police also took place earlier this year. The country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement, “Participants of the rally have a full opportunity to express their protest in a peaceful environment, however, the public can clearly see through various TV broadcasts that the gathered individuals are massively violating the public order.”
