Christopher Plummer, one of the few actors in history to win an Academy Award, an Emmy Award and a Tony Award, has died at the age of 91.
Plummer is perhaps best known for his role as Captain George Von Trapp in the 1965 musical film "The Sound of Music." But he continued to earn plaudits well into his 80s.
He won the Oscar for best supporting actor at the age of 82, making him the oldest person to win an acting award. He was also nominated for an Oscar at the age of 88.
