President George W. Bush welcomes U.S. Coast Guard Rear Adm. Stephen W. Rochon to the Oval Office Tuesday, February 20, 2007. The New Orleans native was announced on that day as director of the executive residence and chief usher. He was the eighth chief usher of the White House, and the first African-Amerikcan to hold that position.
