Liha co-founders Liha Okunniwa and Abi Oyepitan met at university and started exchanging natural haircare tips. Sixteen years later they decided to take their homemade recipes and sell them online.

"People needed to get used to the idea of it being 100% natural and organic and learn how to use it from scratch," explains Okunniwa (right). "It's a great skill to be confident using essential oils, experimenting and having fun in your kitchen."

"Making soap was quite a new thing for us as we had only done oils and butters before, but it turned out amazing," says Okunniwa.
"It's 100% organic and natural and we have tweaked the classic recipe but kept amazing ingredients like plantain ash, and the base of shea and coconut oils."

The pair hand make all of their products in their workshop in Cheltenham, United Kingdom.

Liha's Idan oil is made with natural cold pressed coconut oil and infused with a Tuberose flower, and is used to moisturize the skin.
