The art of the 'death match' —
Blood has always been a part of professional wrestling, but some small, independent promotions are taking it to the extreme these days. Marc McAndrews has been photographing some of their "death matches," where wrestlers attack each other with weapons such as barbed wire and fluorescent-light tubes. The athletes aren't seriously injuring one another -- but the blood and the scars are very much real.

Seventy years after the United States dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan, this toddler's tricycle stands as a bitter reminder of the horrors of nuclear warfare. The tricycle and other fascinating artifacts have been preserved by the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.

'Miracle Baby' thriving after fresh start —
In October 2010, a bus driver in New York found a toddler wandering in the streets alone at 4 in the morning. These photos follow the boy's life since that fateful day. They were taken by his stepmother, photographer Rocio De Alba, who wanted to understand what he was thinking as he adjusted to his new surroundings.
