Zimm is a 3-year-old Sulawesi macaque. She escaped from her enclosure at the Memphis Zoo by crawling into the zoo's drain system on Thursday, July 9. The caper ended Saturday, July 11, with her capture.

Zoo workers remained on around-the-clock shifts to recapture the runaway monkey. Zimm (or at least a social media account started in her name) was seemingly OK with her new digs, tweeting, "This drain is pretty cozy not gonna lie."

Workers went through each inlet of the drainage system on the east end of the zoo in search of the slippery simian.

"The key strategy here was patience," said Matt Thompson, the zoo's director of animal programs. "I'd like to thank our staff for their dedication and hard work."

Zoo workers recaptured Zimm on Saturday morning. "We're glad to have you home! Now back to normal #monkeybusiness," the zoo tweeted.

Zimm received a check-up at the hospital zoo; officials said she's doing well and should be returning soon to her home at the Primate Canyon.

Zimm will rejoin more than 3,500 other animals at the Memphis Zoo.
