Military with PTSD is an organization that works with veterans and spouses to discuss PTSD and how to handle the disorder in a family environment. The nonprofit sends signs to combat veterans, like Scott Larrabee Sr. in this photo, who may be upset by fireworks on the Fourth of July.

The signs are free to veterans and are just one part of what the group does for the military community. Military with PTSD had provided over 2,500 signs by the end of June after getting its first shipment in May.

The Facebook group has over 140,000 members, including Louis Geiger Jr., pictured above. "We are all about supporting each other and helping each other," said Shawn Gourley, founder of Military with PTSD.

The signs ask that neighbors be courteous with fireworks near the Fourth of July by warning combat veterans. Vets like Chris Dumont, pictured above, may experience symptoms of PTSD due to the loud, explosive noises.

James Frazier Jr. was so excited when his sign came in the mail that he immediately took a picture to share with the Military with PTSD Facebook group.
