Lara Sanjar, owner of Wild Renata Flowers, has been adorning more than just weddings with her unusual floral displays (like, you know, beards). Browse the gallery to see more images of her work.

Sanjar credits her success with breaking the conventional rules of floristry and doing something which pushes the boundaries.
"You can create beautiful pieces that don't have to be limited to a vase," she says. "There aren't any limits to what you can do with flowers."

Sanjar says she still likes decorating weddings, because of how much it means for the people involved.
"There's so much emotion. I really get to talk to (the couple) and spend time with them and they become a friend more than a client. All of my brides so far have been lovely."

She has been able to secure a lot of business through snapping her work and sharing it on Instagram. The job to decorate this life-size horse at Royal Ascot was one commission she landed from social networking.

The decision to leave her career in advertizing to start this new venture wasn't taken lightly, but it was made easier because of how much she enjoys her work.
"I stood back and thought, if it's getting this kind of response and it's making me happy, I'll just carry on, so I did," she says.

Sanjar battled with depression in her old job, which she attributed to having no outlet for her creativity. Her flower business has turned that around, she says.

Although not for sale, pictures of Sanjar's illustrations are featured on her website. She says that she has been drawing since she was a child and that the sketches help her to create her unusual arrangements.

Sanjar says her business has appealed to those looking for something a little different.

Sanjar's journey into flowers started two years ago after a shopping trip for peonies at London's famous Columbia Road Flower Market. The market is only open on Sundays, and Sanjay says it's still her favorite day of the week.

Sanjar has been able to spread the joy of flowers at various events, like the London Scandi pop-up music festival, Koppaberg's Urban Forest.

While focusing on the brand for the moment, in the future, Sanjar hopes to run workshops to help people who suffer with anxiety and depression. She believes that interaction with nature is important and can cure the office blues.
