Dr. Said Osman is a world-renowned spine surgeon from Kenya. He is currently based in the U.S. state of Maryland.

Said Osman grew up in a rural community in northern Kenya. "It was a very nurturing environment because playing and going to school with kids from different communities was just a way of life."

Osman completed his fellowship at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in record time. "I had family depending on me back home and had to get things right from the beginning."

Osman decided to raise a family in the U.S., where he was required to get recertified as a doctor. He became a Spine Fellow at Case Western Reserve University.
