This amazing 3D street art was created by UK company Street Advertising Services. But when it came to expanding the company, local banks didn't seem to grasp its business plan ...

Larger than life —
... So it turned to peer-to-peer business lender Funding Circle to generate capital. Peer-to-peer lending lets members of the public invest directly in businesses. Pictured, a 3D art campaign for LG 3D televisions, in Berlin.

Bridging the gap —
Within days, it had received a £40,000 ($70,000) loan from investors, helping fund more art works.

A close shave —
Street Advertising Services (SAS) uses grass advertizing as one of its techniques to grab attention. Roger Federer is seen here spray painted on a hill in Wimbledon during the tennis tournament in 2011.

Penguin crossing —
This optical illusion was created by SAS as part of a campaign for SeaWorld.

Too good to be true —
Shoppers get to take part in this 3D art in a shopping mall advertising for SeaWorld.

Drawing interest —
Cada Design Group also struggled to get funding from banks. Instead, it turned to P2P lending via MarketInvoice, which lends to a particular niche of companies auctioning their invoices. The loan helped fund this design for of a restaurant project.

Design for life —
