At the Games, athletes participate in a wide variety of challenges such as the Push Pull, which includes a series of handstand push-ups and sled pulls.

The individual Games last four days, and athletes aren't sure ahead of time which challenges will be presented each day.

In one event, athletes had to row 3,000 meters, do 300 double-unders with a jump rope and then run 3 miles.

Froning does a rope climb during the Thick N' Quick event. Athletes had to do four rope climbs and three overhead squats with 165 pounds in under 4 minutes.

Froning looked shaky in the earlier part of the competition, according to a CrossFit press release. He has said he won't compete as an individual in the Games next year.

But after a long weekend, Froning emerged with his fourth title of Fittest Man on Earth. He was joined on the podium by Mathew Fraser, left, and Jason Khalipa.
