It's the moment every Formula One driver dreams of -- to stand victorious atop the podium with a bottle of bubbly in hand, ready to splash competitors and fans in celebration.

The Belgian Grand Prix, which takes place at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit later this month, represents the closest the 2014 Formula One season will get to the Champagne region of France where the sparkling drink is produced.

So what better excuse to take a look back at some of the legendary track's most iconic champagne moments?

From Schumacher to Senna, from McLaren to Mercedes, there's a fizzing bottle full of marvelous Spa memories to choose from ...

Schumacher's debut at Spa, however, was one to forget. He lasted just one lap with the Jordan team in 1991, but he enjoyed more success at the following year's race.

After a controversial move to Benetton, the young German claimed the first of his record 91 career wins, excelling in the wet conditions.

The 1992 event would also be remembered for Senna stopping during qualifying to come to the aid of Ligier-Renault driver Erik Comas, who had passed out in his car after crashing.
