Former tennis star Elena Baltacha has lost her battle with liver cancer at the age of 30. The Ukrainian-born Baltacha turned pro in 1997 and spent 132 weeks as British No. 1 between December 2009 and June 2012. Before retiring in November, she had reached a career high of 49th in the world rankings.
