Changing attitudes —
The Center for African Family Studies (CAFS) has joined forces with Kenyan artist Michael Soi to create eye-catching condom wrappers to promote safe sex.

Pop art protection —
The group hopes to create a range of affordable condoms designed specifically for Kenyan youth.

Eye-catching designs —
CAFS says that condoms currently available are either low quality or too expensive for young people.

Artistic reproduction —
Soi, pictured here in his studio, says he was more than happy to collaborate in the effort. "I wanted to try to chip in and create something that would help fight a good fight."

Social stigma —
According to CAFS, many young people in Kenya are aware of the dangers of unprotected sex, but the stigma attached to purchasing condoms when unmarried leaves many willing to take risks.
