Conservative commentator and former presidential candidate Pat Buchanan was doused with salad dressing on his face in 2005 after a man rushed the podium while he was speaking at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  Buchanan cut short his Q & A session with the audience saying, "Thank you all for coming, but I'm going to have to get my hair washed."
